Here it comes
The screw in the pipe clamp (fascetta stringitubo) is inferior and so is the thread. Do you ever test if the screw fits into the thread? I mean: completely fit, not only the first two rotations. I do not think so! The screw bent and broke apart (yes!) while unscrewing it. I was sure that there was something wrong going on there: I have seen that the end of the screw did not rotate while I still bold on with my small 12cm wrench! Fortunately I have some replacement(s) for this standard screw. Still i need to re-cut the thread - because the poor thread is the real problem. For whatever reason (maybe stability?) the original pipe clamp screw is M8 - your's is M6. Any questions?
The original exhaust has a gasket between katalysator and link pipe (collettore di raccordo). Did you ever test if this gasket fit? Again, I don't think so. The link pipe fits nicely onto my katalysator's nozzle but the pipe clamp is obviously not able to close those (about) 0.5mm. It is way to clumsy and cheap (the pipe clamp)! The original is much more robust! Now for the next problem: I am not able to put a new gasket onto the nozzle of the katalysator AND connect your link pipe to it. There simply is not enough space. I used to replace the gasket years ago and still it's thickness is more then 1mm. I have no problem to go (and drive ;) ) without the gasket but would expect that the link pipe fits! I mean really fits!!
Again a problem with a thread. I was not able to fix the carbon fiber because again one screw failed. Not only the thread was of poor quality, no, now I am not able to unscrew it. Same problem as with number 1 above! C'ommon! I had to drill up the thread and screw to NOT destroy the carbon fiber.
I think I can't recommend SC-Project exhaust's at this time. Maybe they are great, who knows - but the accessories are not well made. However, the sound is great so far...
So. Zitat Ende.
Zefix!
